Hi,I am Lee Cecil, I have been cooking for more than twenty years in all types of kitchens from fine dining to pub grub, outside catering, gastro/bistro restraunts, classic French cuisine and even small dinner parties.

I was born in Sudbury, a small market town in Suffolk in the mid 1970's. I am the youngest of three brothers, my oldest brother showed an interest in becoming a Chef and I thought I would do the same. My brother never went into the restaurant trade but from that young age my Mum got me involved with helping in the kitchen at home, something that I try to do myself with my three daughters.

I left school aged sixteen and went about getting an apprenticeship and started on a journey that would take me to various Hotels, Pubs and Restaurants across the country working with some great Chefs and meeting some great people along the way, some of which are still great friends to this day and one of which I happened to marry.

I have mellowed as a cook over the years and have grown to appreciate the simplicity of food, I have learnt to respect the ingredients that I work with and hopefully that is reflected in my recipes that I share and with the styles and flavours that I try to achieve.
